Check the notice period in your lease first, then complete the process in order: request, inspection and handover, key return, restoration, and settlement.
Move-out costs
Cleaning or repair costs may be included in the settlement depending on the lease, length of tenancy, room condition, and cause. Normal wear and aging are generally the owner's responsibility, while damage caused intentionally, negligently, or through improper use may be the resident's responsibility.
Use of the ATLAS DOT ONE move-out package by the owner does not automatically increase the resident's share. The final allocation is determined from the lease, on-site records, and the itemized estimate.
Move-out/cancellation flow
- 1
Move-out request
Submit request on ATLAS DOT ONE with preferred move-out date, inspection candidates, phone number, and optional reason.
- 2
Move-out inspection
Room condition is checked and recorded with photos. Prepare room and notes in advance.
- 3
Key return
Return every key at handover as instructed and keep the return record. Missing keys can delay settlement.
- 4
Restoration
Cleaning or repairs are arranged as needed. Responsibility depends on the contract, condition, and cause.
- 5
Settlement
Review the itemized settlement and respond on ATLAS DOT ONE. The result may be a refund or an additional invoice.
The notice period written in your lease is the source of truth. If the deadline has passed, contact the owner through ATLAS DOT ONE before deciding the move-out date.
Inspection prep (recommended)
- Move belongings out and leave room empty as much as possible
- Note areas you want to confirm during inspection
- Take photos in advance for any damage/defects

Restoration basics
- Normal wear and age-related deterioration are often landlord responsibility.
