Governing Law (Summary) - Matters concerning rental properties located in Japan and related Transactions (lease, move-in/move-out, rent payments, repairs, restoration, etc.) are, in principle, governed by Japanese law regardless of the parties' nationality or location. 3. Disclosures under the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions (Distance Sales) * Pricing and terms for the services are displayed on each service, plan, pricing, and application screen. (1) Price (Service Consideration) - Displayed on each service/plan/application screen (tax included) - If additional fees may arise beyond the displayed price, conditions and amounts (or calculation method) will be disclosed on the application screen. (2) Additional Costs - Internet connection and communication fees - Bank transfer fees (if using bank transfers) - Travel fees, key exchange fees, etc. (if applicable; disclosed on the application screen) (3) Payment Methods - Credit card - Bank transfer - Settlement or deduction from rent transfer amounts, where applicable - Other methods designated by the Company (displayed within the Service) (4) Timing of Payment - Monthly fees / recurring services: at sign-up and each billing or settlement date displayed within the Service; where applicable, these fees may be settled or deducted from rent amounts received and managed by the Company through bank transfer - One-time services (cleaning/estimation, etc.): at sign-up or by the due date on the invoice - Guarantee fees: at sign-up or as set in the guarantee contract * Details are displayed on the application screen. (5) Timing of Service Provision - Monthly fees / recurring services: immediately after sign-up or on a start date designated by the Company - Cleaning/estimation: performed at the booked date/time after the booking is confirmed - Guarantee: from the start date set in the guarantee contract after screening approval * Details are displayed on the application screen. (6) Cancellation / Termination / Refunds - Card-paid items do not automatically renew or become automatically recurring card charges unless expressly displayed and separately agreed on the application or payment screen. Monthly fees may, where applicable, be settled or deducted from rent amounts received and managed by the Company through bank transfer. Cancellation methods and effective timing follow the Terms and displays within the Service. - For one-time services (cleaning/estimation, etc.), cancellation terms, fees, and refund terms are displayed on the application screen. - Except where refunds are required by law, paid fees may be non-refundable (conditions are displayed on the application screen). (7) Cooling-off There is no statutory cooling-off system for distance sales conducted through web applications. Cancellation and refund terms are displayed on the application screen, in the Terms, and on the pricing page (/pricing). 4. Providers of Ancillary Services The Service includes Ancillary Services provided by the Company and those provided by partners. The provider will be indicated on the application/order screen, estimate, invoice details, etc. 5. Copyright and Trademarks Copyright and other rights in content on the Service (text, images, logos, design, software, etc.) belong to the Company or rightful owners. "ATLAS DOT ONE" and related logos may be trademarks or registered trademarks of the Company. 6. External Links If the Service provides links to third-party websites, the Company is not responsible for the content, safety, or accuracy of such sites. 7. Any translations are provided for convenience only; in case of discrepancy, the Japanese version prevails. 9. Information Security Basic Policy The Company recognizes information security as one of its important management issues in order to appropriately protect personal information, customer information, contract information, business information, system information, and other information assets handled in connection with the provision of the Service. The Company shall comply with applicable laws, contractual obligations, and internal rules, and shall endeavor to prevent unauthorized access to, leakage, loss, destruction, or alteration of information assets. The Company shall implement necessary security measures, including access controls, permission management, vendor management, training, and incident response, and shall continuously review and improve such measures. 10. Information Management Rules The Company shall manage information assets, including highly confidential information, at each stage of acquisition, use, storage, access, sharing, transfer, and disposal in order to prevent information leakage. The Company shall permit access to information only to persons who need it for business purposes, and shall prevent unauthorized use through authority management, authentication management, log management, and other methods. Where the Company entrusts the handling of information to a service provider, it shall appropriately select and supervise such provider. If the Company becomes aware of, or suspects, a security incident, it shall conduct an investigation, assess the impact, take corrective action, and implement recurrence prevention measures and any other necessary responses.
